PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rheology modifier which imparts a thixotropic property and viscosity to water and a rheology modification method of water and to provide a slurry composition having high viscosity and excellent underwater separation resistance and a method for producing a slurry composition.SOLUTION: There is provided a rheology modifier which comprises (A) a polyether compound having a hydrocarbon group having 14 or more and 24 or less carbon atoms and an average addition molar number of ethylene oxide of 5 or more an 19 or less and (B) a fatty acid alkanolamide in which the number of carbon atoms of the fatty acid moiety is 14 or more and 24 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】水に対してチキソトロピー性と粘性を付与する、レオロジー改質剤及び水のレオロジー改質方法の提供、並びに高い粘性を有し、水中分離抵抗性に優れるスラリー組成物及びスラリー組成物の製造方法の提供。【解決手段】（Ａ）炭化水素基の炭素数が１４以上２４以下であり、エチレンオキサイドの平均付加モル数が５以上１９以下であるポリエーテル化合物、及び（Ｂ）脂肪酸部の炭素数が１４以上２４以下である脂肪酸アルカノールアミドを含むレオロジー改質剤。【選択図】なし
