To provide a rheology modifier that can impart viscoelasticity to aqueous solution and slurry even after stored at a high temperature, e.g. of 60°C.SOLUTION: A rheology modifier has (A) a sulfate ester with a hydrocarbon group having carbon atoms of 12 or more and 22 or less, and an alkylene oxide having an average number of added moles of 0 or more and 25 or less, or a salt thereof, (B) a fatty acid alkanolamide with a fatty acid portion having carbon atoms of 10 or more and 22 or less, and (C) at least one acid selected from an oxo acid excluding a linear fatty acid having 8 or more carbon atoms, and a hydrochloric acid.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】高温、例えば６０℃の高温で保存した後も、水溶液やスラリーに対して粘弾性を付与することができる、レオロジー改質剤の提供。【解決手段】（Ａ）炭化水素基の炭素数が１２以上２２以下であり、アルキレンオキサイドの平均付加モル数が０以上２５以下である、硫酸エステル又はその塩、（Ｂ）脂肪酸部分の炭素数が１０以上２２以下である、脂肪酸アルカノールアミド、並びに（Ｃ）炭素数8以上の直鎖脂肪酸を除くオキソ酸、及び塩酸から選ばれる１種以上の酸を含むレオロジー改質剤。【選択図】なし
