PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffering device which satisfies all conditions including low cost, small and light weight, installation workability, and constant slip tensile force.SOLUTION: A buffering device includes a pair of oblique intersection plates 20A, 20B and coupling means 30. The pair of oblique intersection plates 20A, 20B has a rope housing groove 22 and a plurality of pressing projections 23. The buffering device is constituted such that each of ropes A, B obliquely intersecting between the rope housing groove 22 and the plurality of pressing projections 23 is individually bound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
