DIMMING DEVICE AND DIMMING METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dimming device that allows a simple structure to switch transparency and non-transparency, and to provide a dimming method that uses the dimming device.SOLUTION: A dimming device 1 comprises: a first member 2 that has a first surface 2A, and a second surface 2B opposing the first surface, in which a first irregularity structure 221 having light diffusion transmissivity is provided on a first surface side; and a second member 3 that has a first surface 3A and a second surface 3B opposing the first surface. The first member 2 and the second member 3 are arranged so that the first irregularity structure 221 and the first surface 3A of the second member 3 oppose each other. In the dimming device 1, without adhering the first member 2 to the second member 3, in a first state where the first irregularity structure 221 and the first surface 3A of the second member 3 are caused to oppose each other, an opaque glass-like state is rendered, and in a second state where the first irregularity structure 221 is adhered to the first surface 3A of the second member 3, a transparent glass-like state is rendered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】簡易な構造により透明及び不透明の切り替えを行うことができる調光装置及び当該調光装置を用いた調光方法を提供する。【解決手段】調光装置1は、第1面2A及びそれに対向する第2面2Bを有し、第1面側に光拡散透過性を有する第1凹凸構造221が設けられている第1部材2と、第1面3A及びそれに対向する第2面3Bを有する第2部材3とを備え、第1部材2及び第2部材3は、第1凹凸構造221と第2部材3の第1面3Aとを対向させるようにして配置される。この調光装置1において、第1部材2と第2部材3とを密着させることなく、第1凹凸構造221と第2部材3の第1面3Aとを対向させた第1状態において、曇りガラス様になり、第1凹凸構造221と第2部材3の第1面3Aとを密着させた第2状態において、透明ガラス様になる。【選択図】図1
