To provide a dimming film that is inexpensive, has excellent weather resistance and a desired hue in a transparent mode, and thereby exhibits high designing property, and a dimming apparatus using the dimming film.SOLUTION: A dimming film 100 includes a dimming layer 10 laminated between two transparent resin films 31, 32 having transparent conductive films 41, 42, with the transparent conductive film sides of the conductive films opposing to each other, in which the dimming layer 10 is made of a liquid crystal material capable of varying a scattering degree of light depending on an applied voltage. The dimming film 100 includes at least one layer of a transparent colored layer 22 outside or inside the transparent resin films 31, 32, and the transparent colored layer 22 is colored with a pigment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】耐候性が優れ、安価で、透明時に所望の色味を持つことで高い意匠性を備えた調光フィルムとそれを使用した調光装置を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】透明導電膜４１、４２を有する２枚の透明樹脂フィルム３１、３２の透明導電膜側を向い合わせにして、調光層１０を積層してなる調光フィルム１００において、調光層１０は、印加する電圧によって光の散乱度を変更可能な液晶材料からなる層であり、少なくとも１層の透明着色層２２が、透明樹脂フィルム３１、３２の外側または内側に備えられており、透明着色層２２は、顔料によって着色されていることを特徴とする調光フィルム１００。【選択図】図１
