PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid breakage of a waterproof sheet spread under slates when after-attaching a roof mounting metal fitting to an existing house.SOLUTION: A roof mounting metal fitting has a longitudinal tabular structure 100 inserted into gaps formed among a plurality of slates, having a front face 101 and a rear face 102, and is provided with: a snow guard part forming a structure of curving toward the front surface of the tabular structure 100 at a position protruded outward of the gap at one end of the tabular structure 100; an inserting part 120 inserted into the gap being the other end of the tabular structure 100; a pressing down part 140 with at least a part being in contact with the front surface side of the inserting part 120 and capable of being in a state close to the front surface of the inserting part 120 and in a state leaving from the front surface of the inserting part 120; and a protrusion part 130 disposed on the rear face 102 side of the inserting part 120.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3A
