PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building material panel which has excellent weather resistance and designability without using a sealer or an adhesive agent.SOLUTION: A building material panel 20 includes: a base plate 23; and a decorative surface layer 21 formed on a main surface of the base plate, and including a magnesium-based binding material comprising magnesium inorganic compound as a main component. Preferably, the magnesium-based binding material at least contains magnesium oxide, magnesium sulfate, and magnesium chloride, and the content of the magnesium oxide is larger than the content of magnesium sulfate and the content of magnesium chloride based on weight.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】シーラーや接着剤などを用いないで、耐候性や意匠性に優れる建材パネルを提供する。【解決手段】基板２３と、前記基板の主面上に形成され、マグネシウムの無機化合物を主成分とするマグネシウム系結合材を含む化粧層２１とを有する建材パネル２０である。好ましくは、前記マグネシウム系結合材は少なくとも酸化マグネシウム、硫酸マグネシウムおよび塩化マグネシウムを含み、前記酸化マグネシウムの含有量が、重量基準で、前記硫酸マグネシウムおよび前記塩化マグネシウムのいずれの含有量より多い。【選択図】図１
