PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building material panel which has excellent weather resistance and designability without using a sealer or an adhesive agent.SOLUTION: A building material panel 20 includes: a base plate 23; and a decorative surface layer 21 formed on a main surface of the base plate, and including a magnesium-based binding material comprising magnesium inorganic compound as a main component. Preferably, the magnesium-based binding material at least contains magnesium oxide, magnesium sulfate, and magnesium chloride, and the content of the magnesium oxide is larger than the content of magnesium sulfate and the content of magnesium chloride based on weight.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
