PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical parking station that can reduce the possibility that a person other than a user who has entered a vehicle in a room erroneously starts storing operation.SOLUTION: In the mechanical parking station 100 in which the vehicle 20 having entered the entry/exit chamber 12 is stored in the storage shelf 14, the management device 22 determines the management number for the user who intends to bring the vehicle 20 into the entry/exit chamber 12. After the vehicle 20 enters the entry/exit chamber 12, the management device 22 issues a card recording the management number. The management device 22 acquires the management number recorded on the card before activating the storage operation of storing the vehicle 20 entering the entry/exit chamber 12 in the storage shelf 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
