PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an under-staircase soundproof specification ceiling capable of controlling transmission of sound generated at a staircase to a space under the staircase.SOLUTION: There is provided an under-staircase soundproof specification ceiling 10 provided in a space 29 below a staircase 12, the under-staircase soundproof specification ceiling 10 comprising plaster boards 70, 72 arranged below the staircase 12 with a gap from the staircase 12, a second frame 52 for fixing the plaster boards 70, 72 on a side wall located at a side part of the staircase 12, plaster boards 76, 78 arranged below the plaster boards 70, 72 and the second frame 52 with a gap therebetween, a first frame 74 for fixing the plaster boards 76, 78 on the side wall, and a sound absorber 80 arranged between the plaster boards 70, 72 and the plaster boards 76, 78.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
