PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing device capable of compactifying while maintaining a deodorizing function.SOLUTION: A private part washing device 3 functioning as a deodorizing device installed at the rear part of a bowl 4 of a toilet bowl body 2 comprises: a base 8 having a blowout port 33 opened laterally in an obliquely downward direction; and a cover 11 covering the base 8 so as to form a space above the base 8. The cover 11 shields at least a part of the blowout port 33 in a side view. The base 8 is placed on a rear part of the bowl 4 in a state in which a space is provided between the blowout port 33 and an upper end peripheral edge of the bowl 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】脱臭機能を維持したままコンパクト化することができる脱臭装置を提供すること。【解決手段】脱臭装置として機能する局部洗浄装置３は、便器本体２が有する便鉢４の後部に設置され、斜め下方に向けて開口している吹出口３３を側方に有するベース８と、ベース８の上方に空間を形成するようにベース８を覆うカバー１１と、を備える。カバー１１は、側面視で吹出口３３の少なくとも一部を遮蔽している。ベース８は、吹出口３３と便鉢４の上端周縁との間に間隔を空けた状態で便鉢４の後部上に載置される。【選択図】図４
