PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brace attaching metallic material which mounts and fixes both end parts of a brace extending in a diagonal direction of a framework of a wooden building on wood.SOLUTION: A fixing metal fitting (4) fitted to wood and a connecting metal fitting (5) for connecting an end part of a brace are pivotally connected by a pivot (6). The connecting metal fitting (5) integrally includes: a head part (15) for connecting the end part of the brace; a leg part (16) pivotally connected to the pivot; and a pair of arm parts (17) extending between both side walls (19) of the head part and tongue pieces (21) of the leg part. The pair of arm parts (17) are provided along inclination lines (La) inclining in an end-spreading manner from the head part to the leg part. Wall thickness t1 of both side walls (19), wall thickness t2 of the tongue piece (21) and wall thickness t3 of the arm part (17) are formed to be t1>t3 and to be t2>t3. When the head part receives a tensile force (F) of the brace, the arm parts (17) are elongated by curving inwardly from the inclination lines (La).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】木造建築物の枠組みの対角方向に張設されるブレースの両端部を木材に取付固定するブレース取付金物を提供する。【解決手段】木材に固着される固定金具(4)とブレースの端部を連結する連結金具(5)を枢軸(6)により枢結しており、連結金具(5)は、ブレースの端部を連結する頭部(15)と、枢軸に枢結される脚部(16)と、頭部の両側壁(19)と脚部の舌片(21)の間に延設された1対のアーム部(17)を一体に備え、1対のアーム部(17)を頭部から脚部に向けて末広がり状に傾斜する傾斜ライン(La)に沿って設け、両側壁(19)の肉厚t1と、舌片(21)の肉厚t2と、アーム部(17)の肉厚t3をt1>t3かつt2>t3に形成し、頭部がブレースの引張力(F)を受けたとき、アーム部(17)を傾斜ライン(La)から内向きに湾曲して伸長させるように構成している。【選択図】図4
