INSPECTION DEVICE FOR CABLE-STAYED BRIDGE CABLE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device for a cable-stayed bridge cable in which moment in the same direction as a curve surface is less likely to be generated in a plane including a curved surface of a cable, and which makes it possible to clime up the cable without generating torsion.SOLUTION: It is provided with a frame 10, two pairs of drive wheels 51 to 54 mounted on a cable W, driven wheels 61 and 62 for pushing the cable W, control motors 63 and 64, a plurality of video cameras 71 to 74 for photographing a surface of the cable W when the drive wheel travels, a controller 80, and a battery 81. The frame 10 is composed of at least one of framework bodies 20, 30 and panel bodies 28, 36, and configured to define a cubic space into which the cable W of the cable-stayed bridge is inserted. Equipment inside the frame 10 is located so that the barycenter of the entire device is away from the cable W by a predetermined dimension in the vertical downward direction when four ridges C, D, E, and F of the cubic space rest on the vertical and horizontal positions on the cable W.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
