PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain pipe cover capable of suppressing water wetting and contamination of a building outer wall by preventing rainwater from a drain pipe from flowing back, and further suppressing a downpipe from falling from the drain pipe cover or breaking owing to heat shrinkage or thermal expansion.SOLUTION: A drain pipe cover consists of two members, i.e., a lower member 4 having a cylindrical part 6 on an upper end side and a drain pipe housing part 7 housed in a pipe of a drain pipe 3 on a lower end side, and an upper member 5 having a cylindrical upper end opening part 8 opposed to an outer peripheral surface of a downpipe 2, a tapered surface 9a inclined outward from a lower end part of the upper opening part 8, and a cover part 9 formed of a vertical plane 9b drooping from a lower end of the tapered surface 9a. A lower end of the cover part 9 of the upper member 5 is larger than the diameter of an upper end of the cylindrical part 6 of the lower member 4, and the cylindrical part 6 of the lower member 4 is covered with the cover part 9 of the upper member 5, and a lower end inner peripheral edge part of the cover part 9 of the upper member 5 and an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical part 6 of the lower member 4 are arranged apart from each other between the upper member 5 and lower member 4 so as to form an opening part 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】排水管からの雨水の逆流を防止して建物外壁の水濡れや汚れを抑制することができ、しかも熱収縮や熱膨張による排水管カバーからの竪樋の脱落や破損を抑制することができる排水管カバーを提供すること。【解決手段】上端側の筒状部6と、下端側の排水管3の管内に収納される排水管収納部7を有する下部材4と、竪樋2の外周面に対向する筒状の上端開口部8と、この上端開口部8の下端部から外方に向かって傾斜するテーパー面9aと、このテーパー面9aの下端より下垂する垂直面9bから形成されるカバー部9とを有する上部材5との二部材からなり、上部材5のカバー部9の下端は、下部材4の筒状部6の上端の径よりも大きく、上部材5のカバー部9により下部材4の筒状部6が覆われ、上部材5と下部材4との間に、上部材5のカバー部9の下端内周縁部と下部材4の筒状部6の外周面とが離間配置されて、開口部10が形成されている【選択図】図1
