PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance safety of a sliding door, and to securely fix a packing device 20 on the sliding door.SOLUTION: The packing device 20 is mounted in a cutout part 12 of a sliding door 10. The packing device 20 includes a packing device body 21 having a U-shaped cross section and locking parts 23a and 23b provided inside the packing device body 21 and engaged with an engaging rail 13 of the sliding door 10. The packing device body 21 covers both side edges 12a and 12b of the cutout part 12 and a part 11a on a step part 16 side of a protruding part 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
