PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propagation distance estimation device capable of improving estimation accuracy of propagation distance.SOLUTION: A base station 1 transmits a ranging signal X(t) to a terminal 2 and has the terminal 2 return the ranging signal X(t). If there is a clock error between the base station 1 and the terminal 2, the base station 1 receives a ranging signal X''(t) from the terminal 2. A correlation calculation unit 40 multiplies the ranging signal X''(t) by its complex conjugate, executes correlation calculation of its multiplication result, and extracts each frequency component of the multiplication result. A distance estimation unit 41 estimates propagation distance of a radio wave transmitted and received by the base station 1 and the terminal 2 from phases of frequency components extracted by the correlation calculation unit 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】伝搬距離の推定精度を向上することができる伝搬距離推定装置を提供する。【解決手段】基地局1は、測距信号X(t)を端末2に送信し、端末2にこの測距信号X(t)を返信させる。基地局1及び端末2の間にクロック誤差がある場合、基地局1は、端末2から測距信号X’’(t)を受信する。相関演算部40は、測距信号X’’(t)とその複素共役とを乗算し、その乗算結果に対し相関演算を行って、乗算結果の各周波数成分を抽出する。距離推定部41は、相関演算部40が抽出した周波数成分の位相から、基地局1及び端末2で送受信される電波の伝搬距離を推定する。【選択図】図1
