PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a currency processing machine that can reduce a cost.SOLUTION: A currency processing machine includes: a currency processing machine main body having operation input means, for performing at least money reception processing of currency by operation input to the operation input means; and a post 12 attached to the currency processing machine main body, for storing a medium that cannot be received by the currency processing machine main body. The post 12 includes: an openable and closable first storage unit 64 for storing the medium; first lock means for locking the first storage unit 64 in a closed state, and releasing the lock of the first storage unit 64 in the closed state by a first lock release operation to the operation input means; an openable and closable second storage unit 83 smaller than the first storage unit 64, for storing keys 92 and 96; and second lock means for locking the second storage unit 83 in a closed state, and releasing the lock of the second storage unit 83 in the closed state by a second lock release operation to the operation input means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
