PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulky structure and an elastic skirt member which can be bulked without using a large amount of sediment at low cost and/or strong against a tsunami and/or resistant to an earthquake and/or increase the usability of a space.SOLUTION: The present invention is a bulky structure having an elastic skirt member having an opening and a column inserted in the opening. Further, the present invention is an elastic skirt member having a base portion and a protruding portion protruding from the base portion, wherein an opening capable of inserting a column is formed in the protruding portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
