PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckling restraining brace to improve rigidity of a restraining member and capable of not only reducing weight of the restraining member but increasing working efficiency at a set-up.SOLUTION: A buckling restraining brace 1 to attenuate vibration of a structure is provided with a steel core member 10 absorbing vibration energy and a steel restraining member 20 preventing the core member 10 from buckling. At both ends of the core member 10, coupling parts 12 coupled to the structure are formed, and at both sides of the core member 10, two restraining members 20, 20 are arranged. The restraining members 20 are provided with a flat plate part 21 extending along the core member 10 and a wall part 22 in one plate shape extending in an axial direction protruding out of an outer surface 21a of the flat plate part 21. 【課題】拘束部材の剛性を向上させるとともに、拘束部材を軽量化することができ、さらに、組み立て時の作業効率を高めることができる座屈拘束ブレースを提供する。【解決手段】構造物の振動を減衰させるための座屈拘束ブレース1であって、振動エネルギーを吸収する鋼製の芯材10と、芯材10の座屈を防止する鋼製の拘束部材20と、を備えている。芯材10の両端部には、構造物に取り付けられる取付部12が形成され、芯材10の両側に二本の拘束部材20,20が配置されている。拘束部材20は、芯材10に沿って延びている平板部21と、平板部21の外面21aに突出し、軸方向に延びている一枚の板状の壁部22と、を備え、拘束部材20の軸断面がT形状である。【選択図】図1
