PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous honeycomb structure and the like capable of improving isostatic strength.SOLUTION: This porous honeycomb structure 100 is provided with: a cylindrical outer skin 10; a cylindrical inner skin 20 disposed inside the outer skin; a plurality of outer cell partition walls 30 for forming a plurality of outer cells 42 that are quadrilateral in cross-section, the partition walls connecting the outer skin and the inner skin; and a plurality of inner cell partition walls 50 for forming a plurality of inner cells 44 within the inner skin. Individual surfaces 50f of the inner cell partition walls 50 that are adjacent to the inner skin 20 respectively face individual surfaces 30f of the outer cell partition walls 30 that are adjacent to the inner skin 20, with the inner skin 20 being sandwiched therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
