To provide a method for producing an expansible filler excellent in expansibility and also excellent in the volume shrinkage.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing an expansible filler comprising: a first step where first solid components at least including a solidification material, coal ash and sand and water are mixed to prepare slurry having a flow value of 260 mm or more and 450 mm or less; and a second step where the slurry is added and mixed with second solid components at least including an expansion material, a clay mineral and a surfactant to prepare an expansible filler, in which the addition amount of the second solid components is set in such a manner that the ratio of the mass of the water to the total mass of the powder components included in the first solid components and the powder components included in the second solid components is controlled to 60% or higher and 100% or lower.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】膨張性に優れ、かつ体積収縮に抑制に優れた膨張性充填材の製造方法の提供。【解決手段】本発明の膨張性充填材の製造方法は、固化材、石炭灰及び砂を少なくとも含む第1固形成分と、水とを混合して、フロー値が260mm以上450mm以下であるスラリーを調製する第1工程と、前記スラリーに対して、膨張材、粘土鉱物及び界面活性剤を少なくとも含む第2固形成分を添加混合して、膨張性充填材を調製する第2工程とを備え、前記第2固形成分の添加量は、前記第1固形成分に含まれる粉体成分と、前記第2固形成分に含まれる粉体成分との合計質量に対する前記水の質量の割合が60%以上100%以下となるように設定される。【選択図】図1
