To provide a method for evaluating an expansible composition which hardly causes pop out, and an expansible composition which hardly causes pup out.SOLUTION: A method for evaluating an expansible composition evaluates a power property of an expansible composition using the following aggregation X. The aggregation X is a value obtained by measuring an expansible composition of 2 g using a powder tester using sieves with apertures of 150 μm, 75 μm and 45 μm from above under the conditions of an amplitude of 1 mm and vibration time of 60 seconds, and calculated by the following expression. Aggregation X (%)=100×((A+0.6×B+0.2×C)/2). A: residual amount (g) on sieve with aperture of 150 μm, B: residual amount (g) on sieve with aperture of 75 μm, and C: residual amount (g) on sieve with aperture of 45 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
