To provide a measuring apparatus and a measuring method of an excavation bottom surface of a pneumatic caisson which can easily display a three-dimensional shape of an excavation bottom surface in a wide range and can easily select an excavation position appropriately.SOLUTION: The present invention comprises an image capturing unit 5 for capturing a two-dimensional image of an excavation bottom surface 3 in a work chamber 9 surrounded by a cutting edge 4 of a caisson frame 1, a three-dimensional image forming unit 11 for forming a three-dimensional image of the excavation bottom surface 3 from a plurality of two-dimensional images captured by the image capturing unit 5 including common areas from different positions, and a display unit 12 for displaying a three-dimensional image of the excavation bottom surface 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
