To provide a caisson structure and a pneumatic caisson method with preferable profitability and workability.SOLUTION: A caisson structure 100 comprises: a first caisson 1 being cylindrical and extending vertically; a second caisson 2 disposed inside the first caisson 1; a concrete portion 3 filled inside the first caisson 1 and outside the second caisson 2. A lower end of the second caisson 2 is disposed below a lower end of the first caisson 1. A friction reduction portion 13 which reduces friction is provided in a gap in a radial direction between the first caisson 1 and the second caisson 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
