To provide a base structure for mounting a water cut-off plate which forms a support part of the water cut-off plate regardless of a shape of a frame constituting an opening, capable of mounting the water cut-off plate easily and in a short time.SOLUTION: A base structure for mounting a water cut-off plate for preventing entry of water from a front of an opening provided in a wall of a building comprises a support part 11 having a support face 15 for supporting the water cut-off plate, and a fixed part 13 connected to the support face 15. The fixed part 13 is fixed to the front and/or a rear of the wall, while the support face 15 is arranged inside the opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
