To provide a road bridge wheel guard widening unit capable of elongating a widening length while suppressing the increase in deflection, weight, asphalt thickness, welding distortion, and cost.SOLUTION: The road bridge wheel guard widening unit is provided with: a pair of receiving frames 6 which is H-section steel arranged in parallel to one another and whose upper surface and lower surface are flanges; a faceplate 2 connected to an upper part of the rear end of the receiving frame; one or a plurality of load receiving angle(s) 8 for connecting the receiving frame; and a base plate 3 which has a base part having right and left wing parts connected to the receiving frame, and an arm part extended forward from the front end of the receiving frame.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
