STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR REINFORCING ABUTMENT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a method which can reinforce an abutment so as to impart strength sufficiently for practical use, while having a simple structure and to reduce the cost.SOLUTION: In a reinforcing structure of an abutment 10 having an embankment 30 on the back surface and supporting a bridge girder 20, which is a plurality of rod-like reinforcing bodies 51 installed on a slope face 31 of the embankment 30, a rod-like reinforcing body 51 arranged so as to form a row extending parallel to the extending direction of the bridge girder 20; a connecting member 41 extending parallel to the extending direction of the bridge girder 20; the connecting member 41 which is connected to an anchor bolt at least partially projecting from the side surface 11 of the abutment 10 and is connected to a base end of the rod-like reinforcing body 51 projecting at least partially from the front side surface 31 are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
