PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer that is hard to lose a component, and can be easily installed.SOLUTION: A retainer is for fixing an object to be fixed. The retainer includes a first fastener 130 for holding a first portion of the object to be fixed, a second fastener 140 for holding a second portion of the object to be fixed, and a fastening member 160 for fastening the first fastener 130 and the second fastener 140 to each other. The second fastener 140 can move relative to the first fastener 130 between a first position and a second position, with the fastening member 160 released therein. The first position is defined by the fixed position where the object to be fixed cannot be released. The second position is defined by the retreat position where the object to be fixed can be released. The retainer has restriction means 135, 145 which, when the second fastener is in the second position, restricting a movement of the second fastener toward the first position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
