PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication device, an authentication method, an authentication program, and an authentication system capable of improving the convenience of a biological authentication technique giving a permission to a group for a specific use.SOLUTION: An authentication device includes: a group setting unit configured to store a plurality of users in association with authentication processing relating to a permission of a specific action when receiving information for identifying the plurality of users; an authority setting unit configured to store the authority level of each of the plurality of users in association with each of the plurality of users when receiving information for identifying the authority level of each of the plurality of users; and an authentication unit configured to execute authentication processing when receiving a request for permission for a specific action from any one of the plurality of users to determine whether to permit the specific action, and determine whether to permit another action on the basis of the authority level associated with the user when receiving a request for permission for the other action from any one of the users.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
