QUAKEPROOF STRUCTURE
To provide a quakeproof structure with an established designability, while coping with a wide variety of earthquakes in size.SOLUTION: A quakeproof structure comprises two longitudinal members, stretching vertically and arranged in the transverse direction at an interval, two cross members, stretching laterally and arranged in the vertical direction at an interval, a face panel member, arranged in the space surrounded with the two longitudinal members and the two cross members and stretching in both vertical and transverse directions, and a frame member to support the face panel member. The quakeproof structure is also equipped with a friction damper, and the face plate member and the friction damper are placed inside a pair of faces of longitudinal members in the expected direction which crosses the vertical and the transverse directions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
