To provide a refractory ceramic fiber-free inorganic fibrous molded body exhibiting good heat resistance up to 1,400°C and having excellent cost performance.SOLUTION: An inorganic fibrous molded body of this invention is characterized in that it comprises 40-60 mass% of alkaline earth silicate fibers and 40-60 mass% of alumina fibers, and the inorganic fibrous molded body consists of a composition of 35-55 mass% of AlO, 10-20 mass% of CaO, 30-45 mass% of SiO, and 0-5 mass% of one or more of other components which are selected from a group consisting of NaO, KO, MgO, TiO, and FeO. Also the inorganic fibrous molded body may further contain an inorganic filler.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】本発明の目的は、１４００℃で良好な耐熱性を示し、コストパフォーマンスに優れたリフラクトリーセラミックファイバー（ＲＣＦ）フリーの無機繊維質成形体を提供することにある。【解決手段】本発明の無機繊維質成形体は、アルカリアースシリケート繊維４０〜６０質量％及びアルミナ繊維４０〜６０質量％より構成される無機繊維質成形体であって、無機繊維質成形体の組成がＡｌ２Ｏ３３５〜５５質量％、ＣａＯ１０〜２０質量％、ＳｉＯ２３０〜４５質量％、Ｎａ２Ｏ、Ｋ２Ｏ、ＭｇＯ、ＴｉＯ２及びＦｅ２Ｏ３からなる群から選択される１種または２種以上のその他の成分０〜５質量％の範囲内にあることを特徴とする。また、本発明の無機繊維質成形体は、更に無機充填材を含むものであってもよい。【選択図】なし
