To provide a connecting method of a steel pipe which controls a clearance between a joint pipe and the steel pipe after preventing the intrusion of adhesives into pressure piping, and can perform sure joining and quick and inexpensive construction.SOLUTION: A short pipe 10 is fixed to an abutment end of piping P in a plant in advance. After that, in a piping site, the abutment end of the piping Q is inserted into the short pipe, adhesives are applied on internal peripheral faces of a plurality of sleeve circular-arc pipes 1, 5, and the sleeve circular pipes are arranged at an external periphery of the abutment end of the piping. Circularly-recessed accommodation grooves 3, 7 contacting with the external peripheral face of the short pipe are formed in centers of internal peripheral faces of the sleeve circular-arc pipes, and the external peripheral face 11 of the short pipe is pressed against a bottom face of the accommodation groove, thus hardening the adhesives.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】接着剤が圧力配管内に侵入することを防止したうえで継手管と鋼管との隙間を制御し、確実な接合と迅速で安価な施工を可能にする鋼管の接続方法を提供する。【解決手段】工場で予め、配管Pの突き合わせ端に短管10を固定する。その後、配管現場では、配管Qの突き合わせ端を短管に挿入し、複数のスリーブ円弧管1、5の内周面に接着剤を塗布し、配管の突き合わせ端の外周に配置する。スリーブ円弧管は、内周面の中央に短管の外周面と接触する円弧状に窪んだ収容溝3、7が設けられており、この収容溝の底面に短管の外周面11が押し付けられて接着剤が硬化する。【選択図】図3
