To provide a building reinforcement bracket improved in a function of restraining and restoring the distortion of a joint portion between structural members caused by an external force applied to a building due to an earthquake or the like.SOLUTION: A building reinforcement bracket 1 comprises: a main body 2 which has a plurality of elastically deformable reinforcing plates 2A to 2D overlapping each other and in which adjacent reinforcing plates are brought into tight contact with each other at both end portions while having spaces S1 to S3 at the intermediate portion; and opposing elastic means (4, 5, 22) which apply opposing elastic forces (F) in a direction crossing the vertical deflection direction of a structural member 11 with respect to both end portions or the intermediate portion of the main body 2, when an external force is applied from the structural member 11 in a state of being fixed to the structural member 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
