To provide a smoke barrier having excellent workability and maintainability.SOLUTION: The installation method of a smoke barrier includes: hanging vertical frames of a frame body of the smoke barrier, movably in the length direction of an upper frame of the frame body; inserting an upper part of a panel into the inside of the upper frame from a lower side to the upper side and hooking plates (hook parts) 111 to upper surfaces (hooking object parts) 251 and 261 so as to hang the panel with respect to the upper frame; inserting width-directional both end portions of the panel respectively, into groove parts of the vertical frames; and providing a lower frame between lower end portions of the vertical frames so as to cover the lower side of the panel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
