To provide a smoke barrier in which tension adjustment of a sheet material attached to vertical frames and horizontal frames can be performed in two orthogonal directions.SOLUTION: A smoke barrier is attached to a ceiling, and comprises a pair of vertical frames, a pair of horizontal frames, a sheet material attached to the vertical frames and the horizontal frames, connection members connected to each of the vertical frames and the horizontal frames adjacent to each other, vertical frame position adjustment means for advancing or retreating with respect to the connection members to displace the vertical frames in a vertical direction, and horizontal frame position adjustment means for advancing or retreating with respect to the connection members to displace the horizontal frames in a horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
