To effectively suppress occurrence and development of crack of existing footing when exchanging base-isolating devices.SOLUTION: Prior to exchange of a base-isolating device 4, a fastening member 10 is fastened around the side face of an upper footing 5b to impart compression force to the upper footing 5b by fastening the upper footing 5b, and the fastening member 10 is fastened around the side face of a lower footing 5a to impart compression force to the lower footing 5a by fastening the lower footing 5a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
