To circumvent such a situation that an on-vehicle communication machine cannot recognize a portable machine in the passenger compartment.SOLUTION: While vibration is not detected by a portable machine, at least one of the function for receiving electromagnetic waves, or the function for transmitting electromagnetic waves is stopped in communication inhibition state, and when vibration is detected, a communicable state where the function for receiving electromagnetic waves and the function for transmitting electromagnetic waves are operating is brought about. When electromagnetic waves from radio communication equipment are received in the communicable state, the communicable state is sustained even if vibration is not detected. With such an arrangement, electromagnetic waves from the radio communication equipment are received before the portable machine is brought into the passenger compartment, and communicable state is sustained. Since a state capable of transmitting/receiving electromagnetic waves to/from the on-vehicle communication machine is sustained even if vibration is not detected in the passenger compartment, the on-vehicle communication machine can recognize a portable machine in the passenger compartment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】車室内の携帯機を車載通信機が認識できなくなる事態を回避する。【解決手段】携帯機で振動が検知されていない間は、電波を受信する機能、または電波を送信する機能の少なくとも一方が停止した通信禁止状態となっているが、振動が検知されると、電波を受信する機能および電波を送信する機能が動作した通信可能状態となる。そして、通信可能状態で無線通信機からの電波を受信すると、振動が検知されなくなっても通信可能状態が継続される。こうすれば、携帯機が車室内に持ち込まれる前に、無線通信機からの電波を受信して通信可能状態が継続される。このため、車室内で振動が検知されなくなっても、車載通信機との間で電波を送受信可能な状態に保たれるので、車載通信機が車室内の携帯機を認識することが可能となる。【選択図】図6
