PORTABLE DEVICE AND COMMUNICATION CONTROL METHOD APPLIED TO PORTABLE DEVICE
To prevent a vehicle door from being unlocked or a vehicle engine from being started with the use of a repeater even when a portable device cannot receive a positioning signal.SOLUTION: A positioning signal is received to measure a current position, an acceleration applied to a portable device is detected, and a moving distance of the portable device from the time when a positioning result is obtained is estimated. At this time, a moving direction of the portable device may also be detected to estimate a moving position of the portable device. When an inquiry signal is received from a vehicle in a state where the positioning signal cannot be received, a reception position of the inquiry signal is estimated based on the positioning result obtained before reception of the inquiry signal and the moving distance (or the moving position) at the time of reception of the inquiry signal so as to obtain a separation distance from a locked position of a vehicle door, thereby determining whether or not to respond to the inquiry signal. Thus, it is possible to prevent a situation in which the vehicle door is illegally unlocked or a vehicle engine is illegally started even in the case where the positioning signal cannot be received in the same manner as the case where the positioning signal can be received.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
【課題】携帯機が測位信号を受信できない場合でも、中継器を用いて車両の扉が開錠、あるいは車両のエンジンが始動される事態を防止する。【解決手段】測位信号を受信して現在位置を測位し、更に携帯機に加わる加速度を検出して、測位の結果が得られた時点からの携帯機の移動距離を推定する。このとき携帯機の移動方向も検出して、携帯機が移動した移動位置を推定しても良い。測位信号を受信できない状態で車両からの問合信号を受信した場合は、問合信号の受信前に得られた測位の結果と、問合信号の受信時点での移動距離(または移動位置)とに基づいて問合信号の受信位置を推定し、車両の扉の施錠位置との離間距離を求めることで、問合信号に対して応答するか否かを判断する。こうすれば、測位信号を受信できない状態でも、受信できる場合と同様に、車両の扉が不正に開錠、あるいは車両のエンジンが不正に始動される事態を防止できる。【選択図】図7
