To provide a replacement method of main column members capable of replacing main column members provided with cross arms as preventing a long-time suspension of power supply without arranging extra power lines while decreasing load on consumers.SOLUTION: A configuration of a replacement method of main column members in accordance with the present invention is provided for the replacement method of main column members to replace a main column member 102a to which a cross arm 108 is connected for a steel tower 100, arranging an inner tower column 130 inside the steel tower 100 and replacing the main column member 102a while the inner tower column 130 supports the cross arm 108.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
