To accurately sink a caisson in the ground.SOLUTION: A rotation suppression device 1 is a device for suppressing rotation of a caisson 100 sunk in the ground around an axial line P extending in a vertical direction. The rotation suppression device 1 includes: a guide member 3 which is detachably mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the caisson 100 and extends to the vertical direction; a pair of first jacks 4 and 5 which are arranged so as to sandwich the guide member 3 in the circumferential direction of the caisson 100 and can be extended and contracted; and a support part (frame body 2) which is fixed to the ground 10 and supports first jacks 4 and 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
