To provide a method capable of easily manufacturing an induction-heatable heating element in any shape.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a heating element performs a kneading step, a molding step and a burning step. In the kneading step, a kneaded material is obtained by kneading ceramic particles, pitches, carbon fillers and water. In the molding step, a molded body is obtained by molding the kneaded material.
