To provide a sound barrier wall capable of suppressing the outward projection amount and also suppressing the amount of snow accumulation thanks to its simple shape.SOLUTION: A sound barrier wall is provided with an upright wall 2 provided in an erected manner and facing a lateral side of a vehicle 11, and a sound absorption component 3 provided along the lateral side on the opposite side of the vehicle 11 in the upright wall 2.
