To provide a friction damping device of a wooden building easy for maintenance and replacement and operating effectively.SOLUTION: A friction damping device consisting of two overlapped metal slip plates to be inserted between a base and a foundation of a wooden building is inserted in a position mainly immediate under a column in a position except an installation site of an anchor volt for fastening the base and the foundation and it consists of a first slip plate arranged in an upper stage for contacting the foundation and a second slip plate arranged in a lower stage for contacting the base and it is configured such that a first circular slip surface and a second circular slip surface disposed in a central part of the first slip plate and the second slip plate and in close contact with each other are smooth circular surfaces in substantially the same size and at least the second slip plate of the first slip plate and the second slip plate is substantially without hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】メンテナンスや交換が容易で、かつ、効率よく作動する木造建物の摩擦減震装置を提供する。【解決手段】木造建物の基礎および土台の間に介挿される重ね合わされた金属製の2枚の滑り平板から構成される摩擦減震装置は該基礎および該土台を緊結するアンカーボルトの立設箇所を除く位置で主に柱直下の位置に介挿されて、上段に位置し該土台に接触する第1の滑り平板および下段に位置し該基礎に接触する第2の滑り平板から構成され、該第1の滑り平板および該第2の滑り平板の中心部に位置して互いに密接する第1の円形滑り面および第2の円形滑り面は略同じ大きさの円形の平滑な面であり、該第1の滑り平板および該第2の滑り平板のうち少なくとも該第2の滑り平板は略無孔である、構成とした。【選択図】図1
