CASTABLE REFRACTORY
To provide a castable refractory containing a silicon carbide raw material, having stable thermal insulation properties.SOLUTION: A castable refractory comprises each of 20 to 50 mass% of a silicon carbide raw material having a grain size of 1 mm or more, 2 to 15 mass% or fine alumina powder having a grain size of 1 to 10 μm, and 1 to 8 mass% of superfine silica powder having a grain size of less than 1 μm, relative to 100 mass% of the refractory raw material. The content of alumina cement is 15 mass% or less (including 0) and the content of silicon carbide raw material having a particle size of less than 1 mm is 5 mass% or less (including 0) relative to 100 mass% of the refractory raw material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】炭化珪素原料を含有する不定形耐火物において、安定した断熱性を確保すること。【解決手段】耐火原料１００質量％に占める割合で、粒径１ｍｍ以上の炭化珪素原料を２０〜５０質量％、粒径１〜１０μｍのアルミナ微粉を２〜１５質量％、粒径１μｍ未満のシリカ超微粉を１〜８質量％、それぞれ含有し、前記耐火原料１００質量％に占める割合で、アルミナセメントの含有量は１５質量％以下（０を含む。）、粒径１ｍｍ未満の炭化珪素原料の含有量は５質量％以下（０を含む。）である不定形耐火物。【選択図】図２
