To provide a door opening/closing mechanism that can improve safety.SOLUTION: A refrigerator 1 (door opening/closing mechanism) includes: a body part 2 having an opening surface 3a; a door 4 for opening/closing the opening surface 3a; and a door closing device 50 for driving a drive motor 52 to close the door 4. In the event of closure incompletion where the door 4 cannot be closed within a predetermined period by driving the drive motor 52 with first drive force, the refrigerator stops the door closing operation by the door closing device 50 and urges the door 4 in an opening direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
