TELESCOPIC LOCKING MECHANISM OF TELESCOPIC LEG DEVICE IN LADDER AVAILABLE AS STEPLADDER
To provide a telescopic locking mechanism of a telescopic leg device in a ladder available as a stepladder which is allowed to configure the stepladder and the ladder in a selective manner.SOLUTION: A ladder available as a stepladder, which includes a first leg body (1a) and a second leg body (1b) pivotally connected to each other, each of the leg bodies being made up of right and left main legs (2a, 2a) that are provided thereon with a plurality of vertically spaced-apart step-crosspieces (3), includes a telescopic leg device and a telescopic locking mechanism (9) provided on each the main leg, a step-crosspiece and operation device (21) consisting of a step-crosspiece main body (25) and an operation body (26) which constitute a step-crosspiece (3c) located in the upper stage, and a remote operation mechanism (20) which enables the telescopic locking mechanism to be operated from an upper position by a connecting body (22) which connects the operation body (26) to the telescopic locking mechanism (9). The step-crosspiece main body (25), which has an upper tread wall (25c) and a lower tread wall (25d), is formed of a hollow mold material and the operation body (26) can pull up the connecting body (22) by turning an operation lever (31) downward from a reference posture (P1), but the upward turning is prevented by stopper means (44) from the reference posture (P1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
【課題】脚立と梯子を選択的に構成可能とした梯子兼用脚立における伸縮脚装置の伸縮ロック機構を提供する。【解決手段】左右の主脚(2a,2a)に上下複数段の踏桟(3)を架設して成る梯子状の第1脚体(1a)と第2脚体(1b)を相互に回動自在に枢結して成る梯子兼用脚立であり、前記主脚に伸縮脚装置と伸縮ロック機構(9)を設けており、上段に位置する踏桟(3c)を構成する踏桟本体(25)と操作体(26)から成る踏桟兼用操作装置(21)と、前記操作体(26)を前記伸縮ロック機構(9)に連結する連結体(22)により、前記伸縮ロック機構を上方位置から操作可能とする遠隔操作機構(20)を設けており、踏桟本体(25)は、上側踏壁(25c)と下側踏壁(25d)を有する中空状の型材により形成され、操作体(26)は、操作レバー(31)を基準姿勢(P1)から下向き回動することにより前記連結体(22)を引上げ可能とするが、ストッパ手段(44)により基準姿勢(P1)から上向き回動を阻止されている。【選択図】図11
