To make it possible to regulate an operation member of a ladder body which is at an upper side position in a lock releasing direction when a ladder takes an extended state.SOLUTION: A ladder available as a stepladder in which a pair of ladder bodies 2 are configured to take a stepladder state and a ladder-extended state. Each of the ladder bodies 2 includes: a pair of left and right elastic bodies 5; crosspiece members 6 arranged in a multi-stage manner; a lock mechanism 7 for fixing an insertion body 9 to a mantle 8 at an extended position; operation means 93 having an operation member 69 that causes each lock mechanism 7 to move up and down for its lock operation and lock release operation. The operation member 69 is extended from the vicinity of the lower crosspiece member 6 to the vicinity of the upper crosspiece member 6, the upper part of the operation member 69 is provided with an operation part 70 to which a force for moving the operation member 69 up and down is applied, and the upper ladder body 2 in the ladder-extended state is provided with stopper means 201 for preventing the movement of the operation member 69 for unlocking the lock mechanism 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 展開梯子姿勢時に上側になる梯子体の操作部材をロック解除方向に移動するのを規制できるようにする。【解決手段】 一対の梯子体2が脚立姿勢と展開梯子姿勢とになる梯子兼用脚立において、梯子体2は、左右一対の伸縮体5と、多段の桟部材6と、挿入体9を伸縮した位置で外套体8に対して固定するロック機構7と、各ロック機構7を上下動によりロック動作及びロック解除動作させる操作部材69を有する操作手段93とが備えられている。操作部材69は下方の桟部材6近傍から上方の桟部材6近傍まで延設されていて、操作部材69の上部に操作部材69を上下動させるための力が加えられる操作部70が設けられており、展開梯子姿勢時に上側になる梯子体2には、ロック機構7をロック解除させる操作部材69の移動を阻止するストッパ手段201が設けられている。【選択図】図1
