To provide a wooden bearing wall which is easy to construct while having required bearing strength and rigidity.SOLUTION: A wooden bearing wall 10 in which plate materials 12A, 12B are joined to both sides of a wooden framework composed of a column material 3 and a foundation or a beam material; the plate materials 12A and 12B are disposed at positions sandwiching receiving materials 11 provided on respective side surfaces of the column material 3, the foundation, and the beam material, or are disposed at positions sandwiching the column material 3 and the foundation and/or the beam material; a linear material 15 is inserted from the surface of one plate material 12A to the other plate material 12B through the receiving material 11 or the column material 3 and the foundation and/or the beam material, and the linear material 15 stays inside the plate materials 12A, 12B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
