To provide a rain curing device which is hardly damaged at a rain curing part, and a joint material used for the rain curing device.SOLUTION: A rain curing device is provided with a scaffold part arranged around a building and including a construction material and a handrail material, and a rain curing part covering an upper part of the building with a water gradient; a top edge of the construction material is positioned at a height equal to or lower than that of a top edge of an uppermost handrail material of the handrail material, and the rain curing part is supported on the top edge of the handrail material of the uppermost layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
