To provide a curing material and a curing method for a screw type mechanical joint capable of curing at a low cost without requiring much labor.SOLUTION: A curing material 10 attached to a screw hole 14 in order to cure the screw hole 14 provided in the screw type mechanical joint 12 comprises: a shaft part 20 formed on an outer peripheral surface of a screw groove 18 capable of being screwed into a screw hole 14; a head part 22 provided at one end of the shaft part 20 and having a circular outer shape in the axial direction; and a bolt having a concave engagement part 26 provided on an end face 24 of the head part 22 and engageable with the rotary tool.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】手間をかけずに低コストに養生することのできるネジ式機械式継手の養生材および養生方法を提供する。【解決手段】ネジ式機械式継手１２に設けられたネジ孔１４を養生するために、このネジ孔１４に装着される養生材１０であって、ネジ孔１４に螺合可能なネジ溝１８が外周面に形成された軸部２０と、軸部２０の一端に設けられ、軸方向視で円形状の外形をした頭部２２と、頭部２２の端面２４に設けられ、回転工具を係合可能な凹状の係合部２６とを備えるボルトからなるようにする。【選択図】図１
