To provide a repair method of a roof which can repair a damaged plate roof material more efficiently and a roof structure of the same.SOLUTION: A repair method of a roof of this invention repairs a roof in which a plurality of plate roof materials 1A to 1C are disposed so that a part of the ridge side plate roof material 1B is overlapped on the eaves side plate roof material 1A with respect to an eaves ridge direction 3 of the roof. The method includes a step of inserting a plate-like cover material 5 between the eaves side plate roof material 1A and the ridge side plate roof material 1B, and covering a top plate of the eaves side plate roof material 1A with the plate-like cover material 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
